Kitchen Installation

Kitchen installation is the process of fitting kitchen cabinets, worktops, appliances and associated components into a prepared space.

Installation typically includes setting out and fixing units, aligning doors and panels, forming worktop junctions and coordinating final connections by the appropriate trades.

The room needs to be ready for the chosen kitchen. In an Edinburgh renovation, uneven floors, walls that are out of square and existing pipe positions can affect how standard units fit and where filler panels are required.

Installation is distinct from the wider renovation, which may include demolition, structural changes, plastering and full service alterations before the cabinets arrive.
