We begin by discussing how you intend to use the loft and reviewing the existing property. Available headroom, roof construction, staircase access and the proposed layout are important considerations at this stage.

02 — Design, Structural Requirements & Approvals

The proposed conversion needs to be developed around the existing building. Where required, we work alongside the appointed architect and structural engineer to review the drawings, structural requirements and relevant permissions before construction begins.

03 — Structural Alterations & Roof Work

Once the necessary approvals and construction information are in place, work can begin on the structural elements of the conversion. Depending on the design, this may include new floor supports, alterations to the existing roof, roof windows or dormer construction.

04 — Staircases, Insulation & Internal Construction

We undertake the internal building work required to form the new accommodation. This can include staircase installation, insulation, partitions, plasterboard, flooring and the coordination of associated electrical, plumbing and heating work.

05 — Joinery, Finishing & Completion
